Ingredients for Rava Cake:
2 cup curd, 1/4 cup ghee, 1 cup rava (semolina), 1/2 cup sugar, 1/4 cup maida, 2 tablespoons milk powder, 1 teaspoon baking powder, 1/2 teaspoon baking soda, 1 tsp Vanilla Sens, 2 tablespoons milk, 2 tablespoons milk
How to make rava cake:
- First, add 2 cups of curd and 1/4 cup ghee in a large bowl and mix well.
- Now add 1 cup of rava and 1/2 cup sugar (you can reduce the amount of sugar as per your choice) and mix well.
- Next, add 1/4 cup maida, 2 tablespoons milk powder, 1 teaspoon baking powder, 1/2 teaspoon baking soda and 1 teaspoon of vanilla essence. Mix all these ingredients well with a mixture of curd and rava.
- Now, beat the batter well by adding 2 tablespoons milk. Keep the batter separate for 10 minutes so that the rava swells.
- When the batter is ready, put it in a greased cake tin (round or square).
- Put salt and a stand in a pan and heat it on medium flame for 5 minutes.
- Now place the cake tin on the stand and cover the pan. Bake the cake on slow to medium heat for about 50 minutes.
- After 50 minutes, add toothpick and check whether the cake is cooked or not. If the toothpick comes out, the cake is ready.
- Allow the cake to cool down, then take it out of the tin and cut it into pieces.
