National Handloom Day 2025: National Handloom Day 2025 is celebrated on August 7 to honour the textiles and fabrics as well as pay respect to India’s rich legacy of handloom weaving. This year marks the 11th National Handloom Day after its inauguration in 2015 by Prime Minister Narendra Modi with an aim to honour the contributions of handloom workers in the country. It also marks the 120th anniversary of the Swadeshi Movement of 1905 led by the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi.
