Pakistani celebrities Hania Aamir and Asim Azhar, once one of the country’s most talked-about couples, have once again found themselves in the public eye. Hania, known for her hit dramas Mere Humsafar and Kabhi Main Kabhi Tum, and Asim, the celebrated singer-songwriter behind several chart-topping tracks, were in a relationship that captured fans’ hearts from 2018 to 2019. However, in 2020, Hania publicly clarified that they were “just friends,” and Asim later got engaged to actor and digital creator Merub Ali.

Recently, speculation about Hania and Asim rekindling their bond began circulating on social media. While earlier rumours lacked visual proof, the two were finally spotted together at the Revive Launch party in Karachi. Hania, dressed in a white outfit with chic glasses, was seen cheering along with fellow actor Yashma Gill as Asim performed his viral track Tarasti Hain Nigahain.

The appearance has stirred a storm of reactions online. Some fans downplayed the buzz, reminding others that exes can remain friends. “Now she can’t even enjoy a concert? Don’t overhype it,” one user commented. Others, however, couldn’t help but add their own theories and humour. “Asim’s real happiness is visible again,” one wrote, while another joked, “Merub has eaten Surf,” in a lighthearted dig.

Whether the sighting means anything beyond friendship remains unclear, but it’s clear that the Hania-Asim dynamic still has fans talking.
