Huma Qureshi and Saqib Saleem’s cousin, a man named Aasif Qureshi, 42, was recently killed in Delhi’s Nizamuddin area over a parking dispute that led to two men attacking the victim with a sharp weapon leading to his death.

According to a report in NDTV, at around 10 pm on Thursday night, Aasif asked two men to not park their scooter in front of his house gate blocking the entrance. This led to a verbal altercation after which the two men left but threatened to come back.

They returned minutes later and stabbed Aasif with a sharp weapon in the chest. The victim was rushed to a hospital but was pronounced dead on arrival.

The Delhi police have arrested two men named Ujjwal (19) and Gautam (18). They lived just a few metres away from Aasif’s house.

Aasif is survived by his two wives. Speaking to the website, one of the wives, Shaheen Aasif Qureshi, recalled, “At around 9:30-10 pm, a neighbour parked a scooter right outside our house. My husband, Asif, requested him to move the vehicle away. The man abused Asif and threatened to come back.”
