Desk. The Gaza Strip is a small area located on the shores of the Mediterranean Sea and is a part of Palestine and was counted among the most densely populated areas in the world. This area is spread over about 365 square kilometers and more than 2 million people lived here. Before the Israeli attacks, there was a lot of hustle and bustle in Gaza. The markets were bustling, people worked and vehicles were seen speeding on the roads.

Gaza’s economy cannot be called good already. There were very few opportunities for trade, import-export and employment. People used to survive by farming, fishing and small business. Despite limited resources, people lived here very comfortably. Electricity and water supply was limited. Still, there was a hustle and bustle of life in Gaza’s markets. Shops selling vegetables, fruits, clothes and spices and vendors sitting on the sidewalks fulfilled the needs of the people. Children went to school and played in parks. Resources were few but the common people were happy.

The people of Gaza were deeply attached to their culture, traditions and family ties. Weddings, religious festivals and community events were a source of joy despite the difficult circumstances. People visited each other on Ramadan, Eid and other occasions. Hospitals and clinics were poorly equipped but doctors and nurses cared for people despite limited resources.

Overall, it can be said that people in Gaza enjoyed life in their own way. But, in the meantime, people were always worried about security, because Gaza had seen conflict and violence many times. And then what happened, the fear of which always remained in the minds of the people. People’s lives changed in one stroke.
