Side effect of coffee: Everyone likes to consume coffee. They drink two-three cups like tea. Apart from men, women also consume a lot of coffee. Consuming this coffee can prove to be harmful for health. This has been revealed in recent research. According to a new study, drinking coffee at night can especially cause problems for women. They may increase impulsive behavior, which increases the chances of working without thinking.
Know what the study says
It is not considered right for women to consume coffee at night here. The study was conducted by the biologist of The University of Texas at L Paso (UTEP), the results of which may be important for shift workers, health workers and military personnel, especially women. The study was published in the journal ‘Iceness’, which was performed to know the effects of caffeine intake at night. It was used as a model on fruit fly (Drosophila Melanogaster). It is an important model species in scientific research. Flies were selected because their genetic and nervous systems have some similarities with humans. This equality helps scientists to study complex behaviors, such as impulsiveness and self-control.
Flies were involved in research
Let us tell you, flies were included for research. His behavior has been detected. The interesting thing is that such impulsive behavior did not show in the flies taking caffeine during the day. Also, despite the amount of caffeine in mail and female flies, the caffeine -inspired behavior in female flies was significantly higher than the mail.
Do not take caffeine quantity at night
Professor Qong-N Han said that this study will help understand the effects of caffeine at night. He said, “Flies do not contain hormones like humans, so female flies may have other genetic or physical factors behind the increased sensitivity to caffeine.
He further explained, “Finding these factors will help us understand how the functioning of the body and gender-specific features change the impact of caffeine at night.”
