Bread-2
Sugar-half cup
Milk-1 glass
Cardamom powder-1/2 teaspoon
Dry fruits- a handful
Milk powder-one and a half cups
Butter paper
Desi ghee- 1 tablespoon

Method of making Kalakand
Cut the edges of the bread and grind it coarsely in a mixer. Mix one cup of milk and one and a half cup of milk powder in a pan. Now add half a cup of sugar to it. Place the pan on the gas and cook it on medium flame. Now add cardamom powder, ground bread, and one-fourth cup of milk and mix. Keep the flame of the gas medium only. After some time, the milk will dry up and it will become tight. Now put it in a vessel to set. For this, first place butter paper in the vessel. Spread chopped dry fruits like cashews, almonds, pistachios on it. Spread the barfi mixture over it so that it sets. Cover it and keep it in the fridge for 10 to 15 minutes. After taking it out of the fridge, turn it over in a plate. Cut it in the shape of barfi. Homemade pure and delicious Kalakand barfi is ready.
