Ajay Devgns comedy-drama Son of Sardaar 2 and Siddhant Chaturvedi and Triptii Dimri’s Dhadak 2 were released on the same day – August 1 2025. While Ajays film opened to mixed reviews from critics Siddhants film received positive reviews. Discussing Son of Sardaar 2’s box office collection the movie earned Rs 4 crore on day 9 whereas Dhadak 2 earned Rs 1.40 crore as per industry tracker Sacnilk. Coming to the total collection for Son of Sardaar 2 and Dhadak 2 so far Ajays movie has grossed Rs 38 crore whereas Triptii and Siddhants movie minted only Rs 18 crore.
