The MP said, “On 19 July 2024 last year, I reached there and we had clearly told the government that the development done by breaking the hut of the poor is actually destruction.

Every citizen of India has the right to provide basic facilities like bread, cloth and house by the government. This is a violation of the Kanshi Ram Slum Area Owner Scheme. Between 2007 and 2012, Kanshi Ram Slum Area Owning Scheme was implemented in the Uttar Pradesh government. ”

He wrote that this scheme was made to save millions of poor families from being homeless. Under this, it is the responsibility of the government to register a 30-30 meter lease at the same site by not displacing it on any land of Uttar Pradesh for 10 years or more. However, the present government is openly violating this law, attacking the rights of the poor. ”

He said that this fight is not only of Hyder Canal, but of every poor, Dalit, Bahujan and toiling person in the country, whose house is being broken in the name of development.
