Ukraine President Volodimir Jailonsky has expressed his opinion on the social media platform X regarding the proposed meeting of Russian President Vladimir Putin and US President Trump. Along with this, he has also revealed a conversation with the British PM Kir Stmper.

He wrote in the X post, “I talked to the British Prime Minister Kir Stmper and I am grateful to him. Our thinking about the need for permanent peace in Ukraine and the threat of Russia’s plan is the same, in which it wants to limit everything to issues that is impossible to talk to.”

Jailonsky said, “Our and Britain’s thinking is the same. We need clear steps that take towards peace. Also, we need to work closely with all our international colleagues. We appreciate the United Kingdom, United States and the commitment of all partners that are visible to end the war.”

The President said that Ukraine is actively in favor of diplomatic efforts.

Earlier, he expressed his opinion about the proposed meeting of Trump and Putin. The message was clear that there was no solution of any kind without including Ukraine and he cannot give his land as a gift to Russia.

In the video message, he said, “Whatever decisions will be taken against Ukraine, or the decisions that will be taken without us, they will be considered against peace. Neither will they be able to achieve anything nor have any future. Such decisions are born dead, they do not have any effect. We want real peace, which people accept.”

President Trump has announced preparations for his meeting in Alaska with Putin. It is far from the war that is going on in our country, against us, and which cannot be abolished without us.

He further said, Putin did not believe our people and hence took a disappointing decision to capture Ukraine. Ignoring Ukrainians was his biggest mistake. I believe in my people. Ukrainians are strong. Ukrainians can protect their rights and their land.

Claimed that there are many countries that are still standing with them. He said, “Many people in the world are standing with Ukraine in this war. The one who is with Russia also knows that Russia is not doing right. We cannot give Russia their land as a gift. Ukrainians are entitled to peace, but all partners have to understand what a respectable peace is.

The end of this war is necessary, and Russia will have to end. The war has been started by Russia and is pulling the war long, ignoring the limits at all times. This is the real problem, nothing else. The answer to the Ukrainian regional issue is already present in the Constitution of Ukraine. No one can move away from it and no one will let it move. Ukrainians will never leave their land.
