Importance of Parijat tree
On 5 August 2020, Prime Minister Narendra Modi planted Parijat plants on the birthplace of Ayodhya. Let us know how Parijat tree is beneficial in our life.
The tree of Parijat is also mentioned in ancient Indian texts. It is said that this tree appeared during the sea churning. Seeing this, Indradev installed it in his garden.
According to the story, when Indradev kept Parijat in his garden, Rukmani demanded this tree from Shri Krishna. To fulfill his wish, Shri Krishna tried to ask for it from Indra Dev, but Indradev refused. There was a war between Indradev and Shri Krishna on this. Finally Shri Krishna won the tree of Parijat for his wife Rukmani.
Goddess Satyabhama got angry with this incident and he also demanded the flowers of Parijat from Shri Krishna. Goddess Satyabhama was blessed by Apsara Aditi of heaven that she would always be young due to Parijat flowers.
Parijat flowers are used in the worship of Lakshmi ji. These flowers automatically fall from the tree, so they are considered special for the worship of Lakshmi ji.
The aroma of Parijat flowers gives peace to the mind and makes thoughts positive. These flowers bloom at night and wither or fall in the morning. In the houses where this plant is there, peace is inhabited.
