In the Bhoomi Pujan program of BEML’s new Rail Coach Factory in Bhopal, Union Defense Minister Rajnath Singh expressed pride in India’s fast pace and said that no strength can stop the country from becoming a global superpower. He took a sarcasm at US President Donald Trump without naming and said, “Some people consider themselves to be the boss of the world, not tolerate India’s progress.”
Rajnath Singh gave this response in the context of Trump’s announcement to impose an additional 25% tariff on India. He said that some forces are trying to reduce India’s products expensive in foreign markets, so that India’s progress is affected. But the pace with which India is moving beyond, it is clear that “we are going to become a superpower soon.”
During the program, he appreciated the contribution of Madhya Pradesh and said that India is the fastest growing economy in the world and we are constantly moving towards self -sufficiency. He expressed confidence that no global power would stop India’s development journey.
Earlier, at the program organized in Raisen, Rajnath Singh, while referring to the Pahalgam attack, said that according to the Prime Minister’s resolution, India gave a befitting reply to it. He clarified that “We do not kill anyone’s religion, we kill karma and we killed after seeing karma.”
