Hiba Ali Khan says polygamy allowed only in special cases

Actress Hiba Ali Khan has said that Islam permits men to marry up to four women only in special situations, not for personal pleasure.

She appeared on an private podcast and spoke openly on various topics. She said many people on social media are jealous because of their own life failures. These people dislike actresses, yet still visit their posts to write negative comments.

Hiba criticized those who declare actresses “outside Islam” in their remarks. She questioned why such people follow celebrities if they claim to be deeply religious. She suggested they should follow Islamic pages instead.

Talking about polygamy, she said the permission for four marriages is for cases where a woman truly needs support. She said if a man wants to marry again, priority should be given to widows, divorced women, or orphans, not teenage girls.

Hiba stressed that Allah gave this permission for specific reasons. She said it is not meant for fun or personal satisfaction. She also pointed out that it is very hard for a man to treat all wives equally. For this reason, she believes men should avoid multiple marriages.

She added that if a man wants to help a woman, he should provide her financial assistance instead of marrying her. According to her, justice between multiple wives is extremely difficult to achieve.

Earlier, Famous actress Hiba Ali Khan has shared with the media that she entered show business at a very young age of 14 and later gave it up for a while to focus on raising her son.

Renowned actress Hiba Ali Khan recently appeared on the comedy show Mazaaq Raat and shared some personal and professional issues.

She stated that when she was growing up, she had no interest in acting. The mother was a drama producer; therefore, she would always encourage Hiba to be an actress.
