New Delhi. The Karnataka Chief Electoral Officer has sent a notice on the allegations of Congress MP and Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi. The document shown by a woman named Shakun Rani for voting twice has been denied. In fact, in the press conference on August 7, Rahul Gandhi had alleged that, the Election Commission figures are telling that a woman named Shakun Rani voted twice. This is the data of EC only. This ID card has been voted 2 times. The tick on this is of the polling booth officer.

At the same time, the Chief Electoral Officer of Karnataka says that his office has initially investigated these allegations. It was found that Tick Marks shown in the presentation by Rahul Gandhi are not an official document of EC. Apart from this, Shakun Rani has also made a statement that he voted only once. Not twice, as alleged.
Regarding this, the Chief Electoral Officer requested Rahul Gandhi that, please provide the relevant documents, on the basis of which you concluded that Shakun Rani or any other person has voted twice, so that a detailed investigation can be done by our office. The notice said that further action will be taken on the basis of these documents.
