Ingredients You’ll Need:
- Rajma – 1 cup (soaked overnight)
- Chole – 1 cup (soaked overnight)
- Onion – 2 (finely chopped)
- Tomato – 3 (pureed)
- Ginger-garlic paste – 1 tbsp
- Green chilies – 2 (chopped)
- Oil – 3 tbsp
- Turmeric, red chili, coriander powder – 1 tsp each
- Garam masala – ½ tsp
- Salt – to taste
- Fresh coriander – for garnish
How to Make It:
- Boil the beans: Pressure cook soaked rajma and chole with salt until soft (6–7 whistles).
- Prepare the masala: Heat oil in a pan, sauté onions until golden. Add ginger-garlic paste and green chilies.
- Add tomatoes: Mix in tomato puree and spices. Cook until oil separates.
- Combine and simmer: Add boiled beans to the masala, mix well, and add water. Cover and cook for 10 minutes.
- Finish and serve: Sprinkle garam masala and garnish with fresh coriander. Serve hot with rice, roti, or naan.
