– Suzy (Rava) – 1 cup

– Oil or Ghee – 2 tablespoons

– rye – half teaspoon

– Urad Dal – 1 teaspoon

– Chana dal – 1 teaspoon

-Kadhi leaves-8-10

-The chili-1-2 (finely chopped)

-Prush -1 (finely chopped)

-Chjar and peas (or any vegetables of your choice) -half a cup

-Nem -As per taste

-Pani -2.5 Cups

-Lemon juice -1 teaspoon

-The coriander -2 teaspoons (finely chopped)

-The peanuts or cashews -1 tbsp (optional)

Recipe

,First, heat a pan and fry the semolina on low flame till it becomes light golden. Keep stirring semolina continuously so that it does not burn. After roasting, take it out in a plate and keep it aside.

,Now heat oil or ghee in the same pan. When the oil is hot, add mustard seeds and let it crackle.

,After this, add urad dal and gram dal and fry till it becomes light golden.

Now add curry leaves and green chillies and fry for a few seconds. Then add chopped onion and fry it till it becomes light golden.

,After frying the onion, add vegetables like carrots and peas and cook for 2-3 minutes. If you want, you can also add a little asafetida to it, it increases both taste and fragrance.

,Now add water and salt to it and let it come to a boil.

,When the water starts boiling, add the roasted semolina slowly and keep stirring continuously, so that the kernels do not fall.

,Cover the pan with a lid and let it cook on low flame for 4-5 minutes, so that the semolina swells well.

-DRemove the kakan and mix the upma well. Now add lemon juice, finely chopped coriander and roasted peanuts or cashew nuts.

,Your hot and delicious rava upma is ready. You can serve it with coconut chutney or sambar.
