Onion Kachori: Make restaurant-like onion kachori at home

Pyaaz ki Kachori is a popular street food of North India, which can be prepared at home with restaurant-like taste. Its light crispy crust and spicy onion filling makes it special.
Ingredients:
For the dough:
- Refined flour – 2 cups
- Ghee/oil – 4 tbsp
- Salt – as per taste
- Water – as per need
for the stuffing:
- Onion – 3 medium (finely chopped)
- Green chillies – 2
- Ginger – 1 teaspoon
- Fennel, coriander powder, red chilli, dry mango powder, garam masala – all spices in balanced quantities
- Oil- 2 tbsp
- Salt – as per taste
- Mix salt and ghee in flour and knead a hard dough, keep it covered for 20 minutes.
- For the filling, heat oil, add fennel, green chillies, onion and remaining spices and fry.
- Fill the dough ball with the stuffing, give it a round shape and roll it.
- Fry on low flame till it becomes golden and crispy.
- Serve hot with green or tamarind chutney.
