
Distribution of Financial Assistance
Following the directives of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, the process of providing ₹5 lakh in financial aid to families impacted by the disaster in Dharali village has commenced. On Monday, District Magistrate Prashant Arya, along with local MLA Suresh Chauhan, visited the village to hand out assistance cheques to those affected. A total of 98 cheques have been prepared for immediate distribution to the victims, and this process is currently ongoing.
Support at Relief Camps
At the relief camps established by the local administration, District Magistrate Prashant Arya, Gangotri MLA Suresh Chauhan, and Garhwal Coordinator Kishore Bhatt shared meals with the affected individuals. They expressed their commitment to supporting the victims during this challenging time, assuring that the government and administration are dedicated to providing all necessary assistance. Efforts are being made to restore normalcy in the affected region, with adequate provisions for accommodation, food, and medical care available at the relief camps.
