Inside luxury night train from Hanoi to Vietnam’s cave kingdom

At 6 p.m. on Aug. 10, Nguyen Thi Tuyet (far left), who lives in Hanoi, and her colleagues arrive at Hanoi Train station, preparing for a company’s trip on the new luxury Hanoi-Dong Hoi train.
The group had nearly 30 people, booking two soft sleeper cars.
The 13-car service began running on Aug. 10. Built in Vietnam using Chinese technologies, the line features adjustable climate control, plush upholstery and private sleeper cabins.
