Rahul Gandhi, the removal of stray dogs from-said-NCR cruel, short-sighted and ends our compassion

New Delhi. On the instructions of the Supreme Court to remove stray dogs from Delhi-NCR, the Leader of Opposition and Congress MP Rahul Gandhi (Rahul Gandhi) has received a response in the Lok Sabha. Rahul Gandhi (Rahul Gandhi) said on Tuesday that the Supreme Court direction is one step behind the decades of human, science-supported policy. He insisted that the removal of stray dogs completely is cruel, short -sighted and ending our compassion. His remarks came a day after the Supreme Court instructed the Delhi-NCR officials to transfer all stray dogs from the streets to the shelter sites as soon as possible.

The Supreme Court said that due to rabies due to stray dog bites, especially children have a very serious situation. Reacting to this directive, Rahul Gandhi said that the Supreme Court directed to remove all stray dogs from Delhi-NCR is one step behind the human, science-supported policy that has been going on for decades. Rahul Gandhi (Rahul Gandhi) said in a post on X that these unruly souls are not problems that can be erased.

Rahul Gandhi said that the shelter, sterilization, vaccination and community care can protect the roads without any cruelty. Removing them in this way is cruel, short -sighted and eliminates our compassion. The former Congress president said that we can ensure that public safety and animal welfare should run together.

The Supreme Court has directed Delhi officials to build a shelter for about 5,000 dogs within six to eight weeks. The court said that the number of shelter sites for dogs would have to be increased over time. A bench of Justice JB Pardiwala and Justice R. Mahadevan issued several instructions and warned of strict action against a person or organization on obstructing the work, so that the court can also initiate contempt proceedings.

The bench said that if a person or organization comes in the way of such force carrying stray dogs and if we are informed about it, then we will take strict action against any such resistance. The bench further commented whether animal workers and so -called lover would be able to bring back the children who were victims of rabies? The bench said, will they give back life to those children? When there is a demand for the situation, you have to take action.

The Supreme Court was hearing a case started on July 28, taking cognizance of the rabies in the case of rabies caused by stray dog bites in the national capital. The Supreme Court on Monday directed the Delhi government and the municipal bodies of Gurugram, Noida and Ghaziabad to remove all stray dogs and keep them in the shelter sites.
