NVS JNV Admission Reservation quota: How much reservation for whom?
75% of the seats in Navodaya Vidyalaya are reserved for children from rural areas. The remaining 25% seats are open to both rural and urban children based on merit. Now the question is what is the eligibility for the rural quota, so let us tell you that if a child has passed classes 3, 4, and 5 from a government-recognized school in a rural area. He will come under the rural quota. Similarly, under the urban quota, those children will be considered who have passed classes 3, 4, and 5 from a school in the urban area. They can apply under the urban quota.
NVS JNV Admission 2025: Lateral entry in class 9th and 11th
Apart from class 6, admissions are also done under lateral entry for vacant seats in classes 9th and 11th in Navodaya Vidyalaya. The last date to apply for this is 23 September 2025. The entrance exam for this will be held on 7 February 2026.
