Banks will not open on August 15 and 16
On August 15, all the banks of the country are going to be closed on the occasion of Independence Day. Also, on August 16, many states are going to be holiday due to Lord Krishna Janmashtami, while in some states Parsi New Year will be celebrated on this day, due to which banks are going to be closed. However, holiday will not be applicable across the country. Similarly, there will be a long weekend in many places from August 15 to 17, after which there is going to be a holiday on Sunday.

If you need RTGS, NEFT, check clearance or branch vijich in these days, then you have today to go to the bank. Customers have been advised to handle the necessary work before this period, such as check clearance, cash withdrawal or any other transaction, as all the services of the branch are going to be closed during the holidays. But yes, even after the holidays, ATM and online banking services will start.

However, these holidays are not going to be applicable in every state. But there are many states where banks are going to be closed. Such as Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan, Bihar, Jharkhand, Meghalaya, Sikkim, Mizoram, Punjab, Kerala and Jammu and Kashmir are going to be closed.
