Candidates appearing for the UPSC Civil Services Main Examination are waiting for the admit card. The Mains exam will start on August 22. The hall ticket will be released on the official website of UPSC upsc.gov.in, from where candidates can download it through their application number, etc. Let us know when the admit card for the main exam can be issued.

The Mains exam will be conducted on 22, 23, 24, 30, and 31 August at various centers set up across the country. The exam will be held in two shifts each day. In the first shift, the exam will be from 9 am to 12 noon, and in the afternoon shift from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm. According to media reports, the hall ticket will be issued by August 20. However, the commission has not shared any official date for the release of the admit card.

Visit the official website of UPSC upsc.gov.in.
Go to the What's New section given on the home page.

Click on the link to UPSC CSE 2025 Main Exam Admit Card here.

Now, click on the admit card download link.

Enter the requested details and submit.

The hall ticket will appear on your screen.

Now check and take a printout.

The exam admit card to be issued will contain the name of the candidate, roll number, exam date, place, and many other important information, including reporting time. No candidate will be allowed to enter the exam center without a hall ticket. The candidate has to reach the center at least 1 hour before the start of the exam.

Only those candidates will appear in the exam who have been declared successful in the preliminary examination. Candidates who are successful in the Mains exam will appear in the interview.
