- Potatoes – 2 (peeled large pieces)
- Onion – 1 large (finely chopped)
- Tomato – 1 (finely chopped)
- Ginger
- Garlic – 2 petals
- Yogurt – 1 cup
- Mustard oil – 2 tablespoons
- Turmeric – 1 tsp
- Tangy – 1 tsp
- Coriander powder – 1 apton
- Cumin powder – 2 tsp
- Hot Masala – 1 tsp (good if you use Bengali sweet spice)
- Land: 1
- Cinnamon
- Cloves – 1
- Salt – To taste
- Water – as per requirement
- Cilantro – for decoration

Action:
- For this, first divide the ginger and the paste.
- In a large bowl, add butter, yogurt, turmeric, salt, chili, ginger-garlic paste and marinate for at least 2 hours.
- Heat mustard oil in a pan and fry the potato pieces until golden, remove aside.
- In the same oil, add bay leaf, cinnamon, cloves and boil.
- Return the onion until golden, then add the tomatoes and let it soft.
- Add the marinated mutton to it and return to medium heat for 5 minutes.
- Add coriander powder, cumin powder, hot spice and mix well.
Cover with water as needed and cook until the mutton is soft on the heat (or in the cooker - Give 2-5 whistles).
- Finally add the fried potatoes and simmer for 5 minutes.
- Add cilantro and serve with hot rice or pods.
- Using mustard oil gives a traditional Bengali taste, but if it is not, you can also use peanut oil.
