Lille have signed Türkiye International Goalkeeper Berke Ozer (25) from Eyüpspor, both clubs have announced. Özer has signed a four-year deal with Bruno Genesio’s Lille side. DOGUES were in the market for a confirmed goalkeeper after parting ways with Lucas Chevalier. The France international has joined Champions League winners PSG over a €55m deal. Özer will wear the No. 1 jersey with Lille.
Lille reportedly reached an agreement with Eyüpspor Kulübü over a €4.5m transfer fee (with bonuses of €500,000) for the signing of the 25-year-old international. Özer became a Turkish international this year when he made his debut for the national side during a friendly against the USA. “I’m very happy and excited to be here”, Ozer Said. “In Türkiye, everyone knows and loves LOSC for what it has achieved in recent years with some of our national team players (Burak Yilmaz, Yusuf Yazici, Zeki Celik).”
Lille will face Brest away on Sunday for their first game of the Ligue 1 season.
