The Delhi University Student Union Election 2025 has been announced. Voting for the election will be held on September 18. Counting of votes will be held on September 19, and the result will be declared. Candidates will be able to file nominations till 3 pm on September 10. The DUSU election dates have been officially announced by the DU Registrar. After the release of the notification, the preparations of student organizations have intensified.

Guidelines have been issued for the elections. This time, along with the nomination fee, the candidate will also have to fill a bond of one lakh. Posters, wall writing, road shows, and rallies have been banned in the university. In the guidelines issued by DU Registrar Vikas Gupta, students, colleges, and all departments of the university have been asked to strictly follow. The university administration has clarified that the model code of conduct will be strictly followed in the elections.

NSUI will participate with a strong agenda

Meanwhile, NSUI has announced that it will participate in the Delhi University Students' Union elections with a strong agenda, which includes improving the infrastructure of the campus. Modern classrooms, 24×7 library, safe and affordable hostels, better health facilities, sports facilities, and ensuring social justice and gender equality across the university are included in the agenda.

NSUI said that our vision is to ensure full compliance with SC/ST/OBC reservation, expansion of scholarships, fee relief for disadvantaged students, and creation of an inclusive campus for every student. For female students, NSUI will prioritize 24×7 campus security, period leave, clean and safe toilets, mental health support, and equal representation in all committees of the university.

NSUI will fight on three main issues
NSUI National President Varun Chaudhary said that NSUI will fight on three main issues in this election: better campus infrastructure and student facilities, full implementation of reservation for social justice and financial support, and making Delhi University a model of gender equality and women's safety. The president said that our commitment is to create a progressive, inclusive and student-friendly campus, where every student gets equal opportunity, security and quality education.
