Special care of safety in preparations for Shraddha Karma

For this event, 10 IPS officers, 60 DSPs, 65 inspectors and more than 2500 policemen will be deployed in security.

Former Chief Minister and Rajya Sabha MP Dishom Guru Shibu Soren Preparations for Zee’s Shraddha Karma are going on with reverence and enthusiasm throughout the village. From the streets of the village to the place of worship, decoration, cleaning and stir are being seen. With the help of family members and villagers from far and wide, this important event is being prepared according to traditional customs.

Chief Minister Hemant Soren himself is staying in the village and keeping an eye on the preparations. He has instructed the officials to ensure traffic, drinking water, food, medical assistance, safety and stay for the people coming. The administration has also conducted a cleanliness drive around the village and surrounding, so that people coming to Shraddha Karma do not have any inconvenience.

For the convenience of the people, more than 300 e-rickshaws will be arranged inside the village, so that everyone can easily reach the venue from the parking lot. 3 large parking sites have been constructed for trains, and bio-toilet has been arranged behind each parking lot. A shady shed, resting place and pagoda have also been made for the devotees who come on foot to avoid sunlight and rain.

3 large pandals have been built for food arrangements, where a large number of people will be able to sit together and eat. It will serve local cuisine and traditional offerings. A team of volunteers and cooks will be deployed for cleanliness and service.

A police control room has been set up at Dhumkudia for security arrangements and traffic control. The district administration will be completely in alert mode regarding law and order. Teams of police, administration and volunteers will be active 24 hours for traffic management, emergency services and mob control.

On the occasion of Shraddha Karma, a special exhibition and memory gallery is also being prepared to show Guruji’s life struggle, political contribution and his role in the upliftment of tribal society. Rare pictures, historical documents and achievements of his tenure will be displayed here.
