Makhan Mishri
Makhan Mishri is the most traditional enjoyment of Janmashtami. It is believed that Bal Gopal loved Makhan and Mishri very much. To make it, you have to take small grains of fresh white Makhan and Mishri. Now take fresh Makhan in a bowl and add sugar candy grains to it. Mix well and offer it to God. These laddus will be liked by Gopal.
Coconut laddus
Coconut laddus is very tasty to eat and is a quick prasad. To make it, take tight fresh or dry coconut. Also take condensed milk and a little cashew, almonds or fortune. Now add coconut and condensed milk to a pan and cook on low flame. When the mixture becomes thick, remove it from the gas. When lightly cooled, make small laddus and decorate it with dry fruits.
Makhana Payasam
Makhana Kheer is a great sweat -span on fasting days. It is also easily made. It is made from makhana, milk, sugar, ghee, cardamom powder, chopped fruits. Fry the makhans lightly in ghee and then grind it thickly. Boil the milk and add makhana to it and cook on low heat. When it becomes thick, add sugar and cardamom and cook. Put fruits on top and offer it.
Registrar
The registrar is specially made in the enjoyment of Janmashtami. It is also beneficial for health. It is prepared with the help of wheat flour, ghee, boora or ground sugar, nuts and dry coconut. To make it, heat the ghee in the pan, add flour to it and fry it on low flame till it turns golden. Now turn off the gas and add boora, chopped dry fruits and coconut. Offer bhog when cooled.
Peda
Peda is also specially made on Janmashtami. To make it, you will need mawa (khoya), boora or ground sugar, cardamom powder and saffron threads. First of all, put the mawa in the pan and fry it on low flame till it becomes golden. When cooled, add sugar and cardamom powder to it. Now make small trees and decorate it with saffron.
