New Delhi. On the occasion of the 79th Independence Day of the country, Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced a national security shield named ‘Sudarshan Chakra’ from the ramparts of the Red Fort, which will be ready by the year 2035. Its purpose is to protect every citizen of the country and to face future technical challenges.

What is ‘Sudarshan Chakra’ mission?
It will not just be a weapon, but a security shield that will protect the country from all kinds of attacks. PM Modi made it clear that this system will not only stop the enemy attacks, but will also retaliate many times more than that. This is a major step towards making India’s defense system impregnable.
Inspiration from Lord Krishna’s Sudarshan Chakra
The Prime Minister said that the inspiration of this mission has been taken from the Sudarshan Chakra of Lord Shri Krishna. Giving the example of Mahabharata, he said that as Shri Krishna had helped to fulfill Arjun’s promise by covering the sun with his cycle, in the same way India’s ‘Sudarshan Chakra’ mission will also fail every intention of enemies and protect the country.

The most important thing about this mission is that everything to it – research, development and manufacturing, everything will be in India. Prime Minister Modi insisted that the youth and scientists of the country will make this modern system together. It further strengthens the thinking of ‘self -sufficient India’.
The target of next 10 years
PM Modi said that in the next 10 years, some basic principles will also be decided to advance this mission with full force. This announcement is a huge and important step towards making India self -sufficient in the field of security and technology, which will take the country’s strategic strength to new heights in the coming times.
