New Delhi. The Delhi University Students Union (DUSU) election has been conductive to 2025. This year elections will be held on 18 September. So far, there has been a competition between the BJP Students ‘Organization (ABVP) and the Congress Students’ Organization (NSUI) in these elections. Now the Aam Aadmi Party student organization (ASAP) has entered the DU election.

A statement issued by the Aam Aadmi Party’s Students’ Organization (ASAP) said that ABVP and NSUI (NSUI) ran the campus as a private contract for years, where they were setting and occupied the DUSU students union in turn. Now this cycle will break. Because this time the student organization of the Aam Aadmi Party (ASAP) will contest the DUSU student union elections, and will not only contest, but will directly challenge the politics of ABVP and NSUI (NSUI).
SAP says that student politics cannot be a fief of BJP and Congress leaders. The leadership should be in the hands of the student who is good in studies, hardworking, honest and wants to improve his college and university.
AAP’s student organization says that the essap has made the ticket process completely transparent and democratic. Every student will get a chance, whether he comes from any language, religion, caste or economic background. Any student who wants to contest the election of DUSU or College Union, has to complete only three easy steps, first- one has to fill a registration form. The last date of which is 25 August. Second- one minute video or audio in which he kept his issues clearly, and third- explain his agenda in 200-500 words. The college union will have to gather support from at least 5 different sections from 10 students, and 50 students from 5 colleges, whose names, students ID and mobile numbers are mandatory for DUSU. The candidate should have the entire classroom attendance, no backlog, nor any disciplinary or criminal record.
