The Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) has issued the LIC AAO and AE Recruitment 2025 notification. Interested candidates can apply for Assistant Administrative Officer (AAO) and Assistant Engineer (AE) posts through the official website – licindia.in. This recruitment drive aims to fill 841 vacancies across the organization. The registration process starts on August 16, 2025, and will conclude on September 8, 2025.

Vacancy Details

  • Assistant Engineers (AE): 81 posts
  • Assistant Administrative Officer (AAO – Specialist): 410 posts
  • Assistant Administrative Officer (AAO – Generalist): 350 posts

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must check the detailed notification on LIC’s website for information regarding educational qualifications and age limits for each post.

Application Fee

  • SC/ST/PwBD candidates: ₹85 + transaction charges + GST
  • All other candidates: ₹700 + transaction charges + GST

Selection Process

The recruitment for AAO posts will be conducted in three stages – Preliminary Exam, Main Exam, and Interview, followed by a pre-recruitment medical test. It is important to note that marks obtained in the Preliminary Exam (Phase I) will not be counted towards the final merit list.
