Raids on Minister's Properties
The Enforcement Directorate (ED) executed searches on Saturday at the properties associated with Tamil Nadu Minister and Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) leader I. Periyasamy, as part of an investigation into a money laundering case. Official sources confirmed this information.
Additionally, the premises linked to his son, I.P. Senthil Kumar, who is also a legislator, were reportedly searched. The operation is being conducted under the provisions of the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA). Periyasamy holds the position of Minister for Rural Development and Panchayat.
