These are the new updates ‘call scheduling’ and ‘join alerts’, which will help users to easily plan and manage groups. These features are trying to get into the category of professional conferencing platforms like WhatsApp, Zoom and Google Meet. Now WhatsApp users can directly schedule group calls by going to the ‘Calls’ tab of the app directly. For this, they have to press the ‘+’ button and choose the option of ‘schedule call’. Here you can decide the date, time and a title of your call, so the participants will know what the call is about. The prescribed calls will appear in an upcoming list in the ‘Calls’ tab, where the list of attendees and sharing call links will also be found, which can also be added to the individual calendar. The best thing is that before the call starts, all the participants will get an information, which will reduce the possibility of missing any significant calls. Under the second important feature, as a ‘join alert’, the person making the call link will get a notification when anyone will be involved in the call through the call. Which will improve the management capacity of meetings. In addition to these main features, WhatsApp has also introduced some other equipment to make the conversation more interactive in group calls. It now includes a new ‘raise hand’ option, allowing participants to signal to speak without any obstruction, and real-time emoji reactions have also been added, so that users can express their feelings without interrupting the conversation.
