
The BJP’s Karnataka unit started the ‘Dharmasthal Chalo’ campaign on Saturday to protest against the alleged conspiracy to the mass grave case. MLA S.R. Under the leadership of Vishwanath, BJP’s Yalehanka unit started the ‘Dharmasthal Chalo’ campaign from Nelamangala toll to Srikshetra Dharmasthal. It started with religious rituals. A convoy of hundreds of vehicles was seen on the road.
The journey has been organized to respond to “wrong information”. All the people involved in this journey will reach Srikshetra Dharmasthal in the evening and see Lord Manjunath Swami.
MLA S.R. Vishwanath, State Milk Federation convenor Belur Raghavendra Shetty, prominent leaders, party workers and supporters have joined.
Vishwanath, the MLA involved in the yatra, said, “We are traveling to the Dharmasthal with around 300 cars. Welcome to the investigation being conducted by the SIT (Special Investigation Team) of the collective tomb case. But, some selfish people are trying to defam the Hindu pilgrimage site and to wander the investigation to make false propaganda against it.”
He said, “We have started the ‘Dharmasthal Chalo’ campaign to respond to and oppose the false propagation being spread against the shrine by YouTubers and some media groups. We will reach Dharmasthal by evening and pray at night.
BJP state president and MLA B.Y. on Sunday. Vijayendra, Leader of Opposition in the Legislative Council, Chalwadi Narayanaswamy and other senior leaders will also come to Dharmasthal. We all will see and worship Lord Manjunath together. “
He said, “Tomorrow about 35 to 40 BJP MLAs will also join us and we will all pray together to God.”
MLA Vishwanath said, “The Karnataka government of the Congress and the Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivkumar are now saying that what is happening in the case of Dharmasthala pilgrimage is a big conspiracy. He has now realized it, but this statement should have been given to him first.”
The Congress government of Karnataka on Friday said that action will be taken against those who have falsely campaigned against the Hindu pilgrimage site.
Deputy Chief Minister D.K. while answering media questions near the KPCC office. Shivkumar said, “The government is considering taking action against those who have spread false things in the religious case.”
