Mahindra vision s: On the occasion of the 79th Independence Day of the country, Mahindra revealed four new concepts, Vision S, Vision X, Vision T and Vision SXT based on their NU IQ platform. The most special among them, Vision S, which will be the first model of sub-4 meter category and will be launched in 2027 with series production. Looking at this concept, it is clear that it is on the production-rade stage. Let’s look at its exterior and interior design.

Strong front design and modern look

Boxy style is clearly visible in the front design of Mahindra Vision S. It has Square LED headlights and wide rectangular grille, which is fit into black housing. The vertical LEDs near the headlights also serve as DRLs turn indicators. Apart from this, the horizontal LED strips on the grill give it more modern look. The bumper is equipped with a black finish and silver skid plate, which gives the SUV a rugged look. At the same time, pixel-shred LED fog lamps on bumper make it more stylish.

Defender in side profiles inspiration

The side stance of Vision S seems inspired by the land rover defender. In this, the ladder on the C-pillar and the Jerry Can present at the bottom make it adventure-red. Anglend chunky wheel arches, black outline, and dual-tone alloy wheels make its look strong and attractive. Also, flush-type door handles and black roof rails give it a higher and premium feel.

Thar glimpse in rear profile

In the rear, Mahindra has given it a quite a radical look. Here is a spare wheel on the tailgate, which reminds me of Mahindra Thar and Bolero Neo. ‘Vision S’ branding is present on the wheel cover. The design of the tail lights matches the headlights and here also pixel-shred rear fog lamps.

Modern interior and high-tech features

The dual-screen setup is given inside the cabin, which the triangular AC vents separate. This setup provides modern and aggressive character to the dashboard. The 3-spoke steering wheel has ‘Vision S’ badging and audio and cruise control buttons. The center console contains gloss black finish and silver highlights, with cupholders, gear selector and electronic parking brake controls. The seats are decorated with the Navy Blue and Black Theme, while panoramic glass roof makes the cabin more open and illuminated.

Who will compete in the market

Mahindra Vision S, the company’s four concepts will first come into production. After the launch, it will compete directly with popular SUVs like Mahindra XUV 3xo, Tata Nexon, Maruti Brezza and Hyundai Venue.
