PTC Web Desk:  Himachal Pradesh PWD Minister Vikramaditya Singh is set to tie the knot once again. His wedding has been scheduled for September 22 in Chandigarh, where he will marry Amreen Kaur from Punjab.

This will be Vikramaditya’s second marriage. Earlier, he had married Sudarshana Kumari, belonging to the Amet royal family of Rajsamand, on March 8, 2019. However, due to marital discord, the couple separated and were legally divorced about two years ago.

According to sources, Amreen Kaur is the daughter of Sardar Jotinder Singh Sekhon and Sardarni Opinder Kaur of Sector 2, Chandigarh. She is currently working as an Assistant Professor of Psychology at Panjab University, Chandigarh. Vikramaditya and Amreen have reportedly been close friends for a long time.

Vikramaditya Singh, a three-time MLA from Shimla (Rural)/Sunni constituency, is also the son of six-time Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister late Virbhadra Singh and MP Pratibha Singh.

Vikramaditya’s first marriage with Sudarshana Kumari was solemnised in Jaipur on March 8, 2019. However, tensions soon arose between the couple. Sudarshana had alleged that Vikramaditya was in a relationship with another woman from Chandigarh and wanted to marry her. She claimed that when she opposed the relationship, she was subjected to harassment. Following these disputes, Sudarshana returned to Udaipur and started living with her parents.

In October 2022, Sudarshana filed a case under the Domestic Violence Act against Vikramaditya Singh. She also levelled allegations against her mother-in-law Pratibha Singh, sister-in-law Aparajita Singh, and brother-in-law Angad Singh, accusing them of supporting Vikramaditya in harassing her. Later, Vikramaditya moved an application in court seeking dismissal of her petition.
