Bmw india price hike: Luxury car manufacturer BMW has made a big announcement. The company has confirmed that their cars will become expensive by 3% from 1 September 2025. This will be the third price hike of this year. Prices have already increased in January and April. After three consecutive times, BMW cars have become expensive by about 10% so far.
Why are BMW cars prices rising?
The company says that the main reason for the increase in prices is the fluctuations of dollars, increasing the cost of production materials and transportation and the problems of supply chains. All these reasons have a direct impact on the manufacturing cost and its burden is eventually poured on customers.
Current BMW Cars Prices
Currently, BMW’s most affordable car in India is Gran Coupe, which has an initial ex-showroom price of Rs 46.90 lakh. At the same time, the price of the company’s high-performance flagship SUV BMW XM goes up to Rs 2.60 crore (ex-showroom).

BMW sells many models in India. Some of these models are assembled by the company in their Chennai (Tamil Nadu) plant, such as:
- 2 series gran coupes

Record sales despite the price increase
Interestingly, despite the ever rising prices, BMW India had no major impact on the sales. The company recorded record sales in the first half of 2025 and the second half is expecting good results. This reflects BMW’s strong brand value and premium customer base.
New models and offers in festivals
BMW India is preparing to make the festival season special. The company will launch several new and powerful models. Besides, Easy EMI plan, leasing option and buy-back schemes will also be introduced for customers. That is, even though prices rise, it will be made easier for customers to buy luxury cars.
