If the scam case is serious and you have suffered financial loss, then a complaint can be lodged by going to the nearest police station. If fraud is associated with a product or service, then you can also file a complaint in the Consumer Forum. Consumer Helpline Number – 1915 is available for this in India. Apart from this, you can also enter your problem by visiting the website www.consumerhelpline.gov.in. From here, consumers get quick solutions and proper help.

Give information immediately to the ban.k

If money has been withdrawn from your bank account in an online scam or your credit/debit card has been misused, inform your bank branch immediately. The bank will check your transaction and take necessary steps. Many times, the amount can also be returned by giving timely information.
