Carina Lau and husband Tony Leung reunite with Chow Yun Fat in star gathering

“Old friends gathering, so happy,” Lau captioned the series of photos.

Lau, 59, began her acting career in 1984 and quickly became a prominent figure in several hit drama series during the 1980s. Her move into cinema, including roles in “Infernal Affairs” and “2046,” further elevated her international profile.

Chow, a legendary figure in Hong Kong entertainment, rose to fame through TVB dramas such as “The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly” and “The Bund.” Over his illustrious career, he has earned multiple accolades, including three Hong Kong Film Awards and two Golden Horse Awards for Best Actor.

Lau and Chow share a close professional relationship, having worked together on several classic projects, most notably “From Vegas to Macau II.” Meanwhile, Leung and Chow have also collaborated on acclaimed films such as “Hard Boiled” and “A Better Tomorrow.”

Lau’s post quickly drew widespread attention online, garnering tens of thousands of likes. Fans expressed excitement at seeing these veteran Hong Kong stars reunite, noting the warmth and camaraderie displayed in the photos.

Netizens particularly focused on the photo of Lau with Chow, remarking on the actor’s youthful appearance at 70, with many saying he looks no older than 40 or 50.

Chow and Leung also share the distinction of being awarded Asian Filmmaker of the Year at the Busan International Film Festival.

Leung, 62, began his acting career in 1982 and has since become one of Asia’s most acclaimed and internationally recognized actors. He is especially renowned for his collaborations with Wong Kar-wai, having appeared in seven of the director’s films, including “In the Mood for Love,” which earned him the Best Actor award at the Cannes Film Festival.

He married Lau in 2008.

The stars previously shared a rare public reunion in April of this year.
