RC Strasbourg Alsace showed an interest in Brighton and Hove Albion’s Julio Enciso (21) back in January. Although they failed to get a deal done then, the Ligue 1 side have reignited their interest, according to a report from The team.
Strasbourg discussed a move for the Paraguay international earlier this year, however, he ultimately joined Ipswich Town on loan. His two goals and three assists in 13 Premier League matches were not enough to keep the club in the top-flight, and he has since returned to parent club Brighton.
Enciso has just one year remaining on his deal with the Seagulls, and it is within this context that Strasbourg are considering revisiting a deal. Whilst RCSA have led a mass-recruitment campaign, they may yet lose Dilane Bakwa and are preparing for this eventuality.
Le Racing are not the only club in for Enciso. As per The team, they may face competition from Palmeiras and several Italian clubs.
