The collision between two big films at the box office this week has become even more interesting. While Yash Raj Films’s much awaited action film ‘War 2’ (War 2) is earning brilliantly since its opening, on the other hand, South’s superstar Vijay’s film ‘Coolie’ (Coolie) is also continuously gaining momentum.

On Tuesday, the earnings figures of both films have come to light, which clearly shows that the gap between War 2 and Coolie is now decreasing rapidly. In the first two days, where War 2 took the lead, on the third day i.e. on Tuesday, ‘Coolie’ showed a strong hold at the box office.

Tuesday’s collection: Who ahead, who behind?

According to box office reports on Tuesday:

‘War 2’ collected about ₹ 14.2 crore.

While ‘Coolie’ surprised everyone by earning ₹ 13.1 crore.

The difference between the two films is now only ₹ 1.1 crore, which is much lower than the first day. Not only this, ‘Coolie’ has also strengthened its grip in many South belts and multiplexes of Hindi belt.

Total collection so far
The film earns total Tuesday on the second day on the first day
War 2 ₹ 25.6 crore ₹ 17.3 crore ₹ 14.2 crore ₹ 57.1 crore
Coolie ₹ 19.4 Crore ₹ 15.6 Crore ₹ 13.1 Crore ₹ 48.1 Crore

It is clear from this figure that ‘War 2’ is still ahead, but the pace of ‘Coolie’ is gradually bringing the race on par.

Trade analyst opinion

Bollywood trade experts believe that the opening of ‘War 2’ may have been tremendous, but its grip now seems to be loose. On the other hand, ‘Coolie’ is getting full support from mouth publicity and family audiences, which can go in favor of it in the coming days.

According to an expert, “If the same pace has been till Friday, then the ‘Coolie can become a higher budget -grossing film than’ War 2 ‘.”

What is the condition of the rest of the films?

‘Love and Logic’ – ₹ 2.3 crore (slow speed)

‘Junglee Jawan’ – ₹ 1.9 crore (stable performance)

‘Strikers’ – ₹ 1.1 crore (Multiplex based audience support)
