Desk: To find anything, people start searching directly by opening Google and then on the search results, they close their eyes and believe it but now you need to be a little careful. Many people search the number of customer care online, but now it has been learned that Google AI Everview feature is becoming a threat to people. Initially, this feature attracted the attention of the people, but now a recently revealed report has revealed that this feature is now showing the number of scammers to people instead of real.

Recently, Alex Rivlin, a Facebook user, informed about the incident that happened to him, he said that he searched Google to find the Royal Caribbean Shuttle Booking Contact, followed by AI Overview, showing an official number at the top of the search result. When the call was made on this number, someone who claimed to represent the company talked, after which the caller asked for credit car details to confirm the booking and then additional fees and personal information were sought.

When Alex Rivlin suspected, he cut off the call, but after some time he notices some un–authorized charge on the card after which the card was immediately blocked. This incident made it clear how scammers are also circulating fake number on Google through AI. When the matter was investigated, it was found that this phone number was also being used for other cruise operators including Disney and Carnival Prince Line. This type of scam is not new, but now the reach of such scams has increased through AI.
