Agni-5 Test: India successfully tested their Agni-5 medium-range ballistic missile from the target test range at Chandipur on the coast of Odisha on Wednesday. This missile test has strengthened the country’s strategic defense capabilities. Officials said all the operations and technical standards of the missile were confirmed in this launch under the aegis of the Strategic Force Command.

Agni became more dangerous

This missile is designed with modern navigation, guidance, warheads and engine techniques, which increase its firepower and accuracy. The Agni-5 missile is also equipped with MIRV i.e. multiple independent targetable re-entry vehicle technology.

Why is MIRV Technology?

Due to MIRV technology, the same missile can carry several nuclear weapons, each of which can be targeted on a different goal. Due to which the strategic effectiveness of this missile increases.

All variants of fire missile

Agni-5 is designed with road mobiles (roadable on road) and canister-with launching systems, which can be deployed quickly and easily. This technique enables the missile to keep, transport and fast launching when needed.

In addition, it contains advanced navigation and guidance systems, such as ring laser gyroscopes and acceters, which make it highly accurate. In recent years, there have been significant updations in Agni-5, including better avionics, better re-entry heat shielding and improving operating performance.
