Bihar Special Trains: Indian Railways has announced to operate 12,000 special trains for passengers of Bihar on the occasion of Diwali and Chhath Puja, which will run for two months across the country. During this time, passengers will also get a discount of 20 percent fare. The special thing is that new services of Amrit Bharat Express will be started from Gaya, from Delhi, Saharsa to Amritsar, and Muzaffarpur to Hyderabad, which will make the journey of passengers even more easy.

Keeping in mind the festivals of Chhath and Diwali in Bihar, NDA leaders discussed railway arrangements with Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav. After this meeting, the minister told the media that 12,000 special trains will be run for the convenience of passengers during the festivals. This step has been taken to ensure a safe journey in Bihar and other parts.

Buddha Circuit Train and New Roots

Railways have decided to start the Buddha Circuit train to connect major religious and historical sites of Bihar. This train will connect cities like Vaishali, Hajipur, Sonpur, Patna, Fatuha, Rajgir, Gaya and Koderma. Along with this, the Vande Bharat train from Purina to Patna will also be run, which will give a boost to travel and tourism in the state.


Development of railway infrastructure in Bihar

The third and fourth lines between Buxar-Lakhisarai will be constructed to strengthen the infrastructure of the railway in Bihar. In addition, there are plans to build a ring railway around Patna, which will improve the traffic of the city.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the MEMU Fast Passenger train between Vaishali and Koderma on 22 August in a virtual manner. The Railway Minister informed that this train service has been prepared keeping in mind the needs of middle class passengers.

Four new Amrit Bharat Express trains will also be run for the convenience of passengers during festivals. These trains will run from Gaya to Delhi, Saharsa to Amritsar, Chhapra to Delhi and Muzaffarpur to Hyderabad. Apart from this, Vande Bharat Express from Purnia to Patna will also be started. All these steps have been taken to make the rail journey more comfortable and faster in Bihar.
