Heavy rain will occur on 21st August, Meteorological Department has issued a 7-day alert.

According to the Meteorological Department, there will be heavy rain in Gujarat and Maharashtra on 21st August. From 22nd August, rain will start increasing in North-West and East India. Heavy rain may continue at different places in North Central Maharashtra for the next 3 days.

During this period, there is also a possibility of strong surface winds till August 23, whose speed can be up to 40 to 50 kilometers per hour. From August 25, rain activities will increase further in Konkan, Madhya Maharashtra and adjoining parts of Gujarat.

Apart from Jharkhand and Bihar, there will be heavy rain here

Apart from Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, there will be heavy rain here

According to IMD, heavy rain is expected at many places in Jammu and Kashmir between 22 and 26 August. Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand and eastern Rajasthan may also receive continuous rain for the next 7 days. There will be rain in Punjab and Haryana from 22 to 26 August. Heavy rain is expected in eastern Uttar Pradesh from 22 to 25 August and in western Uttar Pradesh from 23 to 26 August. At the same time, heavy rain may occur at many places in western Rajasthan on 23 and 24 August.

Apart from Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, there will be heavy rain here

According to the Meteorological Department, heavy rains are expected in many parts of Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura and Arunachal Pradesh for the next 7 days. Out of these, Arunachal Pradesh, Tripura and Mizoram may receive heavy rains (extremely heavy) between 21 and 24 August and Assam and Meghalaya may receive heavy rains between 20 and 23 August.
