UPSC CSE Mains Exam 2025: The UPSC Civil Services Mains exam, one of the country's largest and prestigious examinations, starts from 22 August. Candidates who clear UPSC CSE Prelims will appear in this exam. This exam will run till 31 August 2025 and there will be different papers according to the schedule fixed every day. How to download UPSC CSE Mains Exam 2025 Admit Card?
- To download UPSC Mains Exam Admit Card, the candidates first go to the official website upsc.gov.in.
- Click on UPSC CSE Mains 2025 Admit Card Link.

UPSC CSE Mains Exam 2025 Schedule
The exam will be in two shifts- the first shift from 9 am to 12 noon, the second shift from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm. Dates and papers will be as follows-
- 22 August (Friday): Essay Paper
- August 23 (Saturday): GS Paper-1 and GS Paper-2
- 24 August (Sunday): GS Paper-3 and GS Paper-4
- August 30 (Saturday): Indian Language Paper and English Paper
- 31 August (Sunday): Optional Subject Paper-1 and Paper-2
Who can give UPSC CSE Mains Exam 2025?
Only those candidates can sit in the Mains exam who has passed the prelims examination held in May 2025. Its result was declared by UPSC in June. Candidates going to appear in the examination should keep in mind that it is necessary to take the admit card to the examination center. Apart from this, the documents which have been mentioned in the admit card will also have to be taken along.
