Delhi University (DU) has given a big opportunity to old students to complete their incomplete degree. Students will be able to give a maximum of four papers under special chance by applying online till 15 September 2025.

There is good news for those students of Delhi University who had left their undergraduate (UG), postgraduate (PG), or professional course studies midway for some reason. DU has once again announced a special chance. This means that old students will now be able to complete their incomplete degrees.

Who will get the benefit?

This opportunity is especially for those students who took admission in graduation (UG) between the years 2012 to 2019 or postgraduate (PG) between 2012 to 2020. If you were associated with DU during this period and could not complete your studies due to any reason, then now you have a golden opportunity to complete it.

By when will I have to apply?

According to the notification issued by DU, the application process has started. Interested candidates can apply online till 11:59 pm on 15 September 2025. After this no application will be accepted.

Special chance got for the fourth time

This opportunity is part of the special program of DU's centenary year (2022). Earlier also the students have got this opportunity three times and now the application process has been opened for the fourth time. Students whose degree is incomplete will be able to apply for a maximum of four papers. After applying, the process of confirmation and verification at the college, faculty and department level will be completed by September 19.

How much fee will have to be paid?

For this special chance, students will have to deposit a fee of Rs 3,000 per paper. The fee will be taken only through online mode and once deposited, it will not be refunded under any circumstances.

Students who had participated in the earlier special chance (Chance-1, 2 and 3) but have still not been able to complete the degree can also apply. Such students will have to pay a fee of Rs 5,000 per paper and it will be necessary to upload their old admit card and previous result while applying.

Important points

The last date for application is 15 September.
The verification process will continue till 19 September.
After the fee is deposited, there will be no refund under any circumstances.
Students can apply for a maximum of four papers only.
