ISRO will launch the first Gaganyaan test mission in December, Indian Air Force will send three pilots in space: Shubhanshu Shukla

New Delhi. Indian Astronaut Shubhanshu Shukla and ISRO chief V. Narayanan spoke to the media together on Tuesday in Delhi. During this, Shubhanshu said on Gaganyaan Mission that soon India will send astronauts into space with its rocket and capsules. He also informed that ISRO will launch the first Gaganyaan test mission by December. He also shared his historical space travel experience. He said that after spending 20 days in space, the body forgets gravity and on return to the ground, it has to be re -migrated.

Along with this, he also told about Axiom Mission. He said that under this he stayed at the International Space Station (ISS) for two weeks. During this time he was responsible for the mission pilot and commander. Shukla said in a conversation with the media that I thank all the people who make this mission possible. He said that many experiments were done while living on ISS and pictures to Earth and Space were also taken. He said that long training was taken for this and this experience was the most different and memorable of his life.

What did Shubhanshu say on Gaganyaan Mission?

Shubhanshu Shukla further shared information about India’s ambitious Gaganyaan Mission. He informed that this is ISRO’s first human space mission, under which three pilots of the Indian Air Force will be sent to space in 2027. These pilots will stay in the Earth’s orbit at an altitude of 400 km and after that a safe landing will be made in the Indian Ocean. The total cost of the mission is around Rs 20,193 crore. Shukla said that for the preparation of Gaganyaan, first two empty test flights will be sent, after which a robot will be sent to a flight. When all this is successful, humans will be sent to space. At the same time, in the last, he also said that India still feels good from space.

ISRO Chief V. Narayanan was also present in the program. He said that India’s space journey has got a new pace during the tenure of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He reminded that India made the South Asian satellite and dedicated it to the member countries. Apart from this, India also prepared a satellite for G20 countries. Narayanan said that 10 years ago there was only one space startup in the country, but today more than 300 startups are working in the space sector. Private companies have so far completed two sub-arbitration missions. This shows that India’s space economy is constantly increasing and it will expand further in the coming years.

What did ISRO chief say on NASA-Israo Mission?

ISRO chief said that on July 30, GSLV-F16 Rocket successfully established the NASA-Isaro Synthetic Aperture radar (NISAR) in orbit. This satellite is working completely correctly. Narayanan said that in the next two to three months, India will also launch a 6,500 kg American communication satellite with its launch vehicle. He said that this kind of cooperation is not only technically important, but it also shows the growing strength and ability of ISRO internationally.
