Critique of Opposition's Response
Jitendra Singh criticized the opposition, calling it "astonishing" that they could not even commend the nation's achievements in space. Speaking amidst the opposition's outcry in the Lok Sabha, he remarked that the opposition failed to congratulate space experts and scientists for their contributions to India's space accomplishments. He added, "Your anger may be directed at the government or the BJP and NDA, but it is surprising that you could be upset with an astronaut who is not affiliated with any political party and is also a disciplined soldier of the Indian Air Force."
