The thing to note here is that large language models like Gemini are trained on datasets to learn patterns in reasoning, language, and context. By training on your conversations with Gemini, large language models understand what questions users ask the most, and how AI models can be customized for better content.

People use chatbots for every small and big problem related to life, so Google uses your conversations to train new AI models, but if you want to stop Google from using your data for training AI models, then you can stop Google from doing so, but for this, you have to follow some simple steps.

To prevent Google from using the data of your conversations with Gemini for training its upcoming AI models, you have to go to the settings and turn off the Gemini Apps Activity option. You can turn off this setting through the app or website. Soon, Google may change the name of this setting to Keep Activity after the new update, but the method to change this setting will remain the same.

Google Gemini AI: Change these settings

Open Gemini.Google.com in the browser and then sign in through your Google account.

After this, tap on the three-bar menu visible on the left side and then click on Settings.

After this, as soon as you click on the activity, a new page will open. Here, you will have to tap on the turn off button visible next to Gemini Activity. After this Google will not be able to use your data for AI training.
